Play Based
Leap schools are play based. We focus on providing children with an authentic childhood. We schedule blocks of free time for children to play and discover the things that interest them. We encourage children to develop autonomy and a sense of responsibility for their own growth, learning and creativity. Our play based programs also ensure that children have ample time to develop interests across all domains.
Daily Learning
Our teachers individualize each child's learning goals with parent input to ensure cognitive growth and development. We focus on getting all preschoolers ready for Kindergarten while also providing activities that interest them. Children learn best when their learning materials are interesting, educational and creative. We offer a wide variety of Montessori inspired activities, art projects, and sensory experiences,
Building Relationships
Research shows that children learn best and are able to take risks and explore when they have secure home and school relationships. Our teachers take the time to model loving and nurturing relationships with each child in our care. Our teachers use problem solving techniques to help children build relationships with each other that will help develop friendship bonds, strengthening their social emotional development and self-confidence.
